A fabulous school visit to MOTAT. It was great to see all the children so engaged!

Constable Murray came to school to talk to the Nikau children about road safety. Be careful of those sneaky driveways!

Felix, Ben, Robbie and Noah are reporting back information they have discovered from books. They chose topics that interested them.

"I decided to choose penguins for my report because I like penguins" - Felix.

 "I discovered bees have five eyes. Some bees live in hives and they hang off trees" - Ben.

"I chose The Wonders of the World because I really like the structures of buildings" - Robbie.

The Kit Kats performing a great play that they have been working on as a reading activity.

Nikau gets underway with some fabulous art for our Topic work. We had so much fun. A great social experience for all!

Holiday Writing

In Nikau all children have been busy writing about their amazing holiday.

In Miss Kim's literacy group, the children have focussed on writing about one particular highlight/lowlight of their holiday, using exciting words. They have been published and are available on the back wall for everyone to read and enjoy!
