Integrating our inquiry topic 'Flight' with maths, the students each created their own paper planes.

Afterwards the Nikau children took turns trialling their paper planes. We were fascinated at the different ways and lengths each plane flew.
At the end we used a trundle wheel to measure how far our top 5 planes flew:
